Available positions
Carpenter (Property Maintenance)
We have a great full time opportunity for a Trade Qualified Carpenter (or related trade) to undertake light carpentry and property maintenance work mainly on leased commercial buildings, but may include light maintenance on some residential property. You will be working closely with the Property Management team. This role will be ideal for an experienced tradesman, who is willing to deal with a variety of maintenance issues - from light bulb replacement to carpentry work, and arranging other tradespeople as necessary! You will be out and about looking after a number of properties mainly on the North Shore, so a van will be provided.

MAKO and Massey University Future Leaders Scholarship
For the second year running, MAKO has partnered with Massey University and its School of Built Environment in Auckland, to offer the next generation of construction professionals the chance to win the MAKO Future Leaders Scholarship!
The scholarship aims to not only provide financial support to students but to also give them the chance to experience working in a commercial construction business, helping them obtain the 600 hours of work experience needed to fulfil program requirements.
In its inaugural year, there were two-winners, Jason Lin and Brooklyn Bonham, who shared their experiences with the Massey students the other week to launch the scholarship this year. We look forward to meeting with this year’s candidates and announcing the winners in due course!
